The Divergence in Allegient
I am finally going to start talking about the book Allegient. I have only read around 100 pages so i'm not very far. However, extremely important events have happened. The events have been insane, they range from: People that are supposed to be dead being alive, realizing the lies in society, knowing now that a group of people has been watching you your whole life, and worst of all that the people watching never really interviened no matter if someone was dying or not. Most of the main characters began to learn that if they arent Divergent they have damaged genes. They were missing certain traits from their lack of good genetics. If they werent brave , they became Amity (the peaceful). Why were they killing off the Divergent? Why wouldnt they want to keep the ones with the genes that were in tact? Did they know about the genetics of the people before the faction leaders started to kill the Divergent? They say that Divergence is dangerous. That the Divergent can defy the system and they cant be controlled. There are so many questions about Divergence that havent been answered. Can you think of any questions you have about being Divergent?

I really like this series! I wonder why they think being divergent is bad. Why does everyone have to fit in five categories?
ReplyDeleteI haven't read Divergent yet, but it looks like a really good book and I'm planning on reading it.
ReplyDeleteI read this series as well! I felt the same way while reading allegiant but then I started to grow bored with the book toward the end.
ReplyDeleteI've already read Divergent, and although I wasn't a huge fan of the second book, I did like the way the third book seemed to wrap everything together. I found the author's take on the future of genetics very interesting, adn I think that alot of the questions you had should be answered by the time you finish the book.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a really good book! I've never read this series, but I really want to now!
