Divergent to Insurgent

I'm getting a little ahead of myself and I have already begun to read the second book in the Divergent series. However, I am not going to stop posting about the first book. I can't decide what faction I like the most because it seems as if every faction is part of our society today. There are intelegent, brave, honest, selfless, and peaceful people around the world. The majority if earth today would be divergent. Nearly no one could hold only one characteristic for their entire lifetime and be sane at the same time. The factions are really amazing as well as the people within them... Well most of the people.

  1. Do people act way differently in this book than modern? Are a lot of people in the divergent group or not?

    1. People that are divergent act like the people in society today. The characters that are not divergent only have one trait like bravery or selflessnes for example. Also as the book went on more and more divergent characters were revealed.

  2. I've never read the divergent books, but what does being divergent mean? Does it show something that we use today?

    1. Being Divergent basically means you think differently than others. You can't be controlled by the government simulations. If you are divergent you can manipulate the simulations to your liking. Compared to society today being divergent would be normal because the Divergent have many characteristics instead of just one particular trait.

  5. I know it would be so boring and I would go crazy if I had to be one thing my entire life . That would get really boring.

  6. Haha you're going to love the 2nd book more than the first. I personally believe that the 2nd book has more action and emotion. You are lucky you started reading the series now because the 3rd book comes out this month.
